This song started as some random guitar chords that I played while warming up to record a different song! Sometimes I can get distracted and this song is the product of one of those moments.  I created a synth-heavy pop backing track with a soft little breakbeat holding it down to give the song a fun, smooth energy about it.  In the music video, I am just dancing down the street, enjoying life without a care for the world, and I want this song to make you feel that way too.  Just for a moment - no worries.  

To be honest, this song took about 2 hours for me to make.  The lyrics and the hook came to me almost instantly and I just kept recording layers! I am diving a lot deeper into my vocal production, because I think I finally have a sense of what “my sound” is.  I wanted to have the heavy pop vocal chorus layered and up front, because it drives the guitar melody home.
